Invisicare is a polymer delivery system that enhances the delivery of ingredients to the skin. It is backed by over 20 years of research and development. When applied to the skin, products formulated with Invisicare adhere to the skin’s outer layers, forming a protective bond, resisting wash-off, and delivering targeted levels of chlorhexidine gluconate to the skin to continuously kill germs. The “invisible” polymer compositions wear off as part of the natural exfoliation process of the skin’s outer layer cells beginning in 4-6 hours.
Invisicare is non-occlusive so it allows your skin to breathe while it provides moisturizing and protecting benefits against breathe at the same time.
In general, the word polymer means: many parts. The polymers that make up Invisicare are made of both synthetic and natural polymers. These polymers are combined together in a patented process to create the final delivery system.
It combines hydrophilic and hydrophobic polymers into stable complexes in water emulsions. Its formula is designed for water-based creams and lotions to carry water-insoluble active ingredients without the use of alcohol, silicones, waxes or other organic solvents.

Scientists have spent over 6 years developing and refining DermSafe hand sanitizer. The combination of chlorhexidine gluconate and Invisicare has resulted in a unique formulation that cannot be duplicated. Invisicare provides a protective bond that is resistant to wash-off, and it delivers targeted levels of chlorhexidine gluconate (CHG) directly onto the skin. Over time, the invisible polymer compositions wear off as part of the natural exfoliation process.
Chlorhexidine Gluconate, often referred to as CHG, is a cationic bisbiguanide salt that is commonly used in both dental and surgical settings as a surgical scrub and healthcare antiseptic soap as CHG has persistent germ killing properties. CHG works on germs by destroying the outside cell membrane and then the cell contents (the germ) die. CHG is also used as a preservative to help inhibit microbial growth in certain products.
Numerous bacterial and viral studies have been conducted on DermSafe at recognized and approved FDA and EU equivalent laboratories. In vitro studies showed a greater than 99% kill on bacteria such as: Enterrococus faecalis, Serratia marcescens, Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA), Escherichia coli, and Pseudomonas aeruginosa, as well as Type A Influenza viruses that include H1N1 (“Swine flu”); H3N2 (Influenza A); subtype H5N1 virus, commonly known as “avian influenza” or “bird flu”; Influenza B virus; Hepatitis C virus. Ex vivo studies performed on H5N1 known as “bird flu” showed a greater than 99% kill lasting up to four hours.
